Great Ontario Canada Outdoor Adventure of a Lifetime Contest

Trains, floatplanes, wildlife, fishing and outdoor adventure, get online and enter the Great Ontario Outdoor Adventure of a Lifetime Contest. Our resort, Errington’s Wilderness Island Resort, will be one of the major experiences on this 6th annual offering by Ontario Canada of some of their best outdoor adventures to showcase Ontario Canada as the great outdoor adventure vacation destination. This year, the winner and their 3 guests and will be accompanied by Gary & Joanie McGuffin, Ontario’s famous wilderness photojournalist adventurers, to enjoy our incredibly beautiful Algoma Region of central Northern Ontario to explore the Chapleau Crown Wildlife Preserve at Errington’s Wilderness Island Resort, and canoe the northeast shore of Lake Superior at Lake Superior Provincial Park with Naturally Superior Adventures.
The contest winner and their 3 guests will take the Algoma Central Railway from Sault Ste Marie Ontario Canada, through Agawa Canyon to Errington’s Wilderness Island Resort to enjoy 2 days of comfort and relaxation in the Canadian Wilderness watching wildlife, fishing and enjoying nature. Errington’s Wilderness Island Resort is on Lake Wabatongushi in the Chapleau Game Preserve a 2 million-acre/700,000 hectare wildlife sanctuary in Northern Ontario Canada. Al and Doris Errington’s wilderness vacation and fishing resort is accessible by floatplane or the Algoma Central Railway passenger train that also services Agawa Canyon. We are looking forward to hosting this years contest winners so they can "Rough It In Velvet" and experience the best nature has to offer from the comfort of our resort. Other partners contributing to vacation experiences are Algoma’s Water Tower Inn, Algoma Central Railway, North to Adventure’s White River Air, and Naturally Superior Adventures. The contest winner will fly by float plane from Errington’s Wilderness Island Resort for the second part of their adventure, 2 days exploring the coast of Lake Superior by canoe at Lake Superior Provincial Park.
This 6th annual Great Ontario Outdoor Adventure of a Lifetime is free to enter by anyone in the US or Canada. This year’s prize is worth over $23,000 CDN/$18,000 US, and includes all meals, accommodation, transportation and recreation services and equipment, a NIKON prize package of 4 digital cameras and 4 sets of binoculars, as well as round trip air fare from anywhere in the US or Canada served by Air Canada.
